The FlexFold 52i folding box gluing machine adjusts itself fully automatically to the box dimensions of the new order: the feeder, pre-breaker, glue disk and the entire folding and gluing section move automatically to the appropriate positions (KAMA patent). This means that order changes can be made in less than 5 minutes . Another USP: The FlexFold 52i is the only folding box gluing machine that can directly control
the positions for the next order . Reference runs like on other machines are not required, which speeds up order changes even more.
100% inspection
Quality check according to the desired criteria.
For folding boxes, e.g. for the pharmaceutical market, a 100% inspection is essential. KAMA offers various inspection levels with automatic rejection for the FlexFold 52i. Defective blanks are detected and sorted out. The inspection levels:

Inline Braille embossing with fully automatic positioning.
Position Braille embossing in record time: On the KAMA AutoBraille for the FlexFold 52i, the embossing wheel pair moves fully automatically into position. This is the only system on the market that can do this across the entire width of the machine, so that all possible embossing positions are achieved.
The tool change with automatic feed is also ingeniously solved.

For smooth surfaces and UV varnish.
With plasma treatment, the FlexFold 52i can also permanently bond sealed and smooth surfaces, such as metallized cardboard and UV-coated boxes. The process is ideal for fold-bottom boxes with multiple adhesive surfaces, which are popular as packaging for cosmetics.
